To expand the options for Nonstop access and modernize systems, with no software needed on the desktop or a mobile device, CAIL / Web enables organizations to get more benefits with the platform and the associated data by making it quick and easy to deploy, manage, secure, and scale important information services to more people by –

1. Utilizing a standard Browser to access Nonstop based applications

  • with a headless connection from a Windows Server (behind the firewall) to process HPE Nonstop 6530 data streams
  • using HTML and Web Sockets, the resulting screen images are displayed on a Web page at the Client
  • providing fast onboarding and remote system accessibility
  • enabling Users to have a single or multiple sessions / host connections
  • to make it easy to scale information services to many people across the organization
  • having secure sessions with encrypted communications between the Windows Server and Client PC with SSH or SSL / TLS encryption and system authentication
  • providing a keyboard interface (for those with function keys) as well as Web page buttons (for Tablets and Macs)

2. Minimizing the work, time and cost to setup and support Users

  • with Server based, centrally managed software and using a standard Browser for the Client

3. Maintaining the Web application session in the event a connection to the Host is interrupted or lost – so the information continues to be available to the User

  • with the session returning to the same place in the application (where the person was working) when the system reconnects
  • this is beneficial to people experiencing service interruptions or periodic Wi-Fi dropouts (ie: in a remote location, warehouse, etc.)
